Just thought I would get some pictures up here from the end of summer time. Each picture captured a moment, tells a story of travel, adventure, family, friends.

We're so lucky to live in this great state of Oregon. With three weeks off, we got to run bare feet in the sand along the ocean, paddle through some white water on two of the most beautiful rivers in the state, we hiked along water falls, ate lunch over looking the deepest lake in the United Sates.

We got to spend time with family. The Trussell side of the family had a reunion one Saturday in August, where we got to see/meet people we haven't seen in years. Something special happens when family is together. It was a tender, sweet, fun, Saturday afternoon. All of these people were together, and despite silly habits, or flaws, or someone/thing so unique we might even venture to say weird; we were together, and we were
family..... Some are total strangers on the street. But family at the end of the day. We drove away really thankful to have spent an afternoon eating BBQ hamburgers, fried chicken, enjoying endearing moments, and awkward moments and playing in a giant field with water balloons and bad mitten with our
family.

Between Ocean, Rivers, Lakes & Waterfalls, we covered a LOT of state in our trusty Jeep. We often find car time to be quality time. Great disscussions happen when we spend hours driving across the state together. We often times learn something new about each other, we laugh, we're silent, we sing at the top of our lungs; anything from Tayor Swift to Ben Harper.

As romantic & peaceful & wonderful driving across the state may sound, I have ADD, and honestly can NOT sit still for much more than 3 hours in the car! Which has been known to drive my husband a little crazy, but luckly he
gets me & instead of getting frustrated, he helps break up a long trip with a little adventure. Like, for instance we made a quick little stop-a-roo in a sweet little town called Blachely.

Where we walked around (illegally!!) gave green cabin a little hug, got to walk off some energy, and remember, some of the best times of my life....

And this picture above was after about three hours in the car, and all of a sudden Ian slams on the breaks and pulls off the Highway...."what are you doing?!" I ask?! He replys " I just saw a sign for bumper boats, lets get you out of the car!"
Thanks Ian Robert, for understanding me in a way not many people do, and for supporting me in ways that may seem a little child like to some, but makes perfect sense to
us.
