Ian and i are excited to be on the side of History that voted for change. That broke down walls. We are proud to have voted for the PRESIDENT of the UNITED States of America. Someday we will get to tell our kids, that not only we were around, but we VOTED for the first African American President in the USA.

Last night we whispered prays of "thank-you..." For reasons like now we don't have to stress about health care, and the war has an end in sight, and we don't have to continue to watch the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. And because after 8 years of chaos, i feel confident in the leader of our nation, excited, even. And because we've come so far. 43men who all look the same, and now a man of color. It brings hope. Dreams come true.

I watched the T.V. and just cried. Happy tears. Ian said "well, we don't have to move to Canada!"
