This past weekend we drove to Salem for Nathan and Dani's wedding! Ian and i loaded up the jeep with flares, MRE's, chains, and just about anything you could need if you were stuck in a snow storm!!!
But in the end we didn't even go over the pass. Its been so sketchy, and last week it was closed two or three times, and they've had avalanches, and horrible wrecks, we descided it wasn't worth going over the mountain, but missing the wedding wasn't an option. So we went HWY 97 to 84 and went through the George. It was beautiful, a little wet, took exactly 5 hours, and we were as safe as can be! We figured, in all honestly going over the pass could have turned into a 5 hour drive, so we went the safest route we could.
It was well worth the 5 hour drive to see our wonderful friends tie the knot!
I've been friends with Nathan since i was 15! Thats a long time ago, and Dani is perfect for him. Not only is she beautiful, but, smart, witty, funny, and they are so in love! We are so happy to have such great friends to walk through this exciting, fun, part of life with.

That's soo nice of you guys. We were glad you two made it. I knew the pass was impossible so we didn't expect you two there but were ecstatic you made it!
