Our First House.

We're renting a house on the South East side of Bend and we spent the last day moving. My wonderful, amazing, incredible, lovely, parents bared the big snowy mountain, drove their truck over and helped us haul all our crap (excuse me..) stuff from our two bed room apartment (which we out grew 5 months ago) We couldn't have picked a better time to move (hear the sarcasm) it was snowing! The entire time! so we had a big o'll blue tarp, and a big o'll white truck and after many'a trips across town we are finally all moved in. Not unpacked, but moved in.

Despite moving (i hate moving) the end result is quite wonderful.

Our top five favorite things about the new casa: (in no particular order....)

#5. We can do laundry AT OUR HOUSE. No longer do we have to haul our laundry around town.
#4.We have a wood stove! we can build a little cozy fire, and heat our house for wayyyy cheaper!
#3.We have a garage! Ian now has a work bench, and a place to put tools we can put all our wet boarding gear there, park the jeep. store crap. We love the garage.
#2.We're with in walking distance from the baseball stadium where the Bend Elks play. That means we are watching lots o' baseball this summer!
#1. We have a yard. A pretty big one, with a fence. We're hoping to get a dog in the next month!!

My Wonderful amazing parents also brought us a big TV which Ian would like on the top 5 list, but since i write the blog, i don't deem it worthy of top 5......but it is nice!

we're excited about our first (rental) house.
