Moving

Our theory on moving was this "we're going to take our time" So we did zero packing, had no boxes, nothing ready-to-go. We knew when we would close people would ask "oh are you packing??" NAH - we'd say "we're taking our time...."

We got our keys to the new place on April 28th, and (NO DUH) wanted to stay in our NEW house! Why sleep in an old crappy rental, when we have a new, beautiful house we OWN?!?! .....

(why we didn't think through all this is beyond me)

So we have our keys, the new place is 100% OURS and we think -- lets move the bed over and sleep there -- sweet. But then we have to drive across town to change clothes? -- okay then lets move the bed ROOM over -- okay, but we're going to drive across town to shower? -- sure then move the bathroom -- but we have to drive across town to eat? -- okay the kitchen.... -- okay EVERYTHING! So Ian took a VAY-kay day the day after we closed, and we spent one whole day moving everything we needed to BE at the new place.

Oh ya -- in the snow.

WHAT THE SNOW?!?!

Yes, thats our bed being moved in the snow.

HELLO APRIL! Thanks for joining us.

Ya, the slow moving thing never seems to work but in theory it sounds so nice. I am amazed at the snow and super excited for y'alls new place! Do you have a guest room for annoying people who pretend to be related?

Wishing you all the best in your new house!!!!
