This young man is making history, and Ian and i have been up every night this week past midnight to watch it all. and I'll be honest, we don't usually stay up late!!! But its so worth it.
the mens 4 x 100 relay? There really are no words. I just love watching Jason Lezak pour his guts out in the pool, swimming the fastest split in history.
And last night? the mens 100 Fly? Let me tell you something that finish we will be studying for a while! As a coach i'm telling my little swimmers all the time "don't take an extra stroke for your finish!" and guess what? Phelps took an extra stroke, and it won him the gold! and not just a gold, but # 7 gold, for the most, EVER! I loved watching that moment.
can we talk about the fact that his goggles were leaking?
