Bend Summers.

Last summer was busy. Really busy. We were traveling over the hill at least once a month, we were planning a wedding, getting married, on a honeymoon. All the while still working, coaching, rafting....It was busy. So we kept saying "oh next summer...." Yeah. Next summer our butts! We're working like crazy, but not to worry, we're still getting some play time in! And thought we'd share what July 2008 has been like!


We found our selves with an afternoon free - in such a rare moment we descied to hop in the jeep and drive up Cascade Lakes Highway! The drive itself is stunning, but we stopped off at Devils Lake and did a little hiking.

It is such a beautiful lake! Sometime soon we want to take the kayak to explore, but this afternoon was just hiking.

We love that 20 min from our house we get to be in such a beautiful place!

A snowman in July - who would have thought?? There is still some snow up there though! We're in sandals and sunglasses building a little snowman. We love Oregon!

It's Baseball season so we've gone to a couple games to watch the good o'll Bend Elks! Its pretty funny.

The sprinklers came on right before the game and flooded third base! So here are all the guys fixing the flood.

And here we are in the stands! It wasn't cold, I'm not sure why I'm wearing my hood! Sometimes i just like to i guess!! :) We love living a block from the stadium. Baseball nights are fun!

We went to a wedding at Willamette Valley Vineyards! Kelly McGranahan and Mark Bretl tied the knot on a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

We've had some family staying in Central Oregon this past week, my aunt and uncle in Sun River and my parents here in Bend! So we've had some good dinner, some good beer, and some good laughs! We're looking forward to some camping, some rafting, and an anniversary still left this month! Woo-Hoo!
