Today was a good Thursday.

We've been in the market for a new car. We weren't looking too seriously, but our goal was to have a new car by the end of summer. For a few reasons, first: we would really like to be a one car family. Two cars isn't really necessary for us, we're both with in walking distance from work, and, well, we don't NEED two cars. & Second: the poor o'll beretta was in bad shape. She became a town car, it wasn't really safe to take her over the hill anymore, she was in need of about $800 worth of work, and instead of putting cash into our old beat up car, it was time to get a new one! Oh, and Third: after knowing my husband now for three years, he was FINALLY willing to get rid of his, ahem, stupid wrangler!

We had a few non negotiable items while car shopping.
# 1 under $10,000.
#2 Under 50,000 Miles
#3 we wanted to be able to live out of it, like sleep in it, and camp out of it.
and
#4 Ian wanted to be able to "haul stuff", (Like what kind of stuff i ask...like - JET SKIIS - ) he tells me. hah. He's a dreamer! But honestly he does have a trailer to haul around town...

So we found this beauty! she is a 2001, was in our price range, had 41,000 miles on her, the seats fold down, we can sleep in the back, AND haul stuff around! It was such a great deal, exactly what we were looking for (ian loves himself a jeep, that was the icing on the cake for him!)

So this morning we said good bye to the wrangler ( i did the freaking happy dance to say goodbye!) && we traded in the silly silly wrangler for a real car!

a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 cylinder (for those of you that know about that stuff) with only 40,000 miles! That was our Thursday, how was yours??

I miss the wrangler.
Did you take the winch off?
Can we take the cherokee up my mountain?
Are you ever coming to see us? Can I have the winch?
Did I mention I got an elk and the winch would have been a nice feature?
Are you going to call?
I really liked the winch and the wrangler. I will mourn with Ian. Why do the girls always get what they want?
