This is how Saturday Morning went down in the Anderson House:
7:45am - Ian up
7:50am - Kendra rolls out of bed and walks into the computer room Where Ian is. There is no greeting, no 'good morning' not a 'how did you sleep' Her first question is:
"how much snow did the mountain get?"
Ian - "Twelve inches"
-They stared at each other, knowing what the other was thinking -
It's March 29th and there is a foot of brand new snow.
We're going.
8:15am We quickly loaded up the Jeep, grabbed cold pizza to eat on the way up the mountain
9:10am There's an SUV that has spun out on the side of the road thats stuck in a snowbank. (a tourist, no doubt) We stop, and Ian hooks up the jeep to the SUV and pulls them out.
10:15: oh, we're shredding the nar. It was Top 5 one of the best days ever. When the powder is that amazing, its like a spiritual experience. Our boards were just surfing through this amazing white ball of fluff.
- I think we got five amazing runs in -
And all of this before noon. Why you ask?
Because Ian had to be at work by 12:15.
Gosh, we love Central Oregon.
